Streicher's Cold War Time Machine




After World War II, the nations of the world were attempting to physically rebuild not only their cities but piece their lives back together. From the ashes of the second war of the world emerged two superpowers, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (U.S.A.) and THE UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS (U.S.S.R). These two nations despised one another due to their different political ideologies (Click the term). From 1945-1991, the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R. battled and tested each other in many different forums such as technology, education, arms as well as politics. Jump in my time machine as we go back to the Cold War and explore!



Before we start, we need to make sure that you have the proper supplies newspaper reporters usually carry and know your task at hand. Make sure that you have a working pen and print the tag along sheet below. The tag along sheet will aid in collecting facts that will be used when you complete your technology project. Let's try to create an understanding of what the Cold War was and it's significance in Global History.
